My Journey

Growing up in Pickering, Ontario, I trained as a competitive dancer for 15 years. I gained experience in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Character Ballet, Hip Hop, Acro, Contemporary, Open and Lyrical, and completed my B.A.T.D Associate exams in Ballet/Pointe and Stage. I've attended many conventions, workshops, and additional classes in the GTA to help expand my knowledge of movement in the industry and develop my personal style of dancing and teaching.

As a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer, I now have over 24 years combined experience. As a previous competitive tap dancer, I completed her examinations and finished within the top ten tappers in Canada, through the B.A.T.D. syllabus. From there, I attended the International University Global Theatre Experience (I.U.G.T.E) Conference in Carrara, Italy, where I was the youngest participant, and the only Canadian. At this conference I was able to network with various international Artists and creators, while learning about differences and innovations in the European arts industry.

Recently, my choreography was featured in LOCKLYN’s music video “90’s Love”, an upcoming artist from Toronto. I am now a proud member of the Professional Adjudicator Alliance (P.A.A) and hopes to continue sharing her passion and inspire others to get up and create.
